Interlab offers a full scale test menu of anatomic and clinical pathology services.
We tailor our histology techniques based on your protocol requirements, ranging from the smallest to largest tissue sizes. We provide accuracy in all processes of cytology, histology and surgical pathology. We have the capability to provide additional pathology services to fit your unique study needs. Advanced comprehensive tumor tissue analysis such as IHC and FISH are available upon client request.

BONE AND SOFT TISSUE
Interlab provides comprehensive consultative expertise and services relating to disorders in soft tissue. Our expert consultation is imperative in correctly classifying soft tissue tumors due to the complexity and difficulty involved in diagnosing such disorders as well as their clinical implications.
BREAST
Our breast pathology services are an imperative component in early diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. Our board certified pathologists have extensive experience interpreting all types of breast disorders, from surgical pathology to fine needle aspirations, in cases of early borderline disease to the most advanced cancer stage.
CYTOLOGY
We are a full-service laboratory providing screening and diagnostic testing on gynecological, non-gynecological, and fine needle aspiration specimens. We offer customized cytology reports like Hormonal Evaluation from vaginal specimens as well as Maturation Index.
In an attempt to help our clients we have the ability to detect the presence of several micro-organisms found in the vaginal canal responsible for infertility as well as vaginitis. Not only do we report what we find but we also rule out the presence of other common pathogenic organisms.
DERMATOPATHOLOGY
Interlab offers specialized services in detection of rare malignancies and/or difficult skin lesions. We provide special staining techniques tailored to your needs. Additionally, we have the capability of processing the smallest skin samples using our specialized methodology to capture any abnormalities.
GASTROINTESTINAL
Interlab provides services relating to disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. Our specialized technique in handling micro size tissue (core biopsies) is conducive to preservation of the tissue removed for accurate diagnosis. We also provide testing for Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.
GENITOURINARY
We offer early cancer detection for Bladder and Prostate. Early detection of bladder cancer is also available by urine cytology for both men and women.
HISTOLOGY
Our Histology Department can turnaround approximately 90% of specimens within 48–72 hours. Specimens requiring overnight shipment to our laboratory are also completed within 36 hours.
